Payment Methods
You can pay for your items using Paypal. Paying by this method is a safe and secure way for you to pay and your card details will not be sent to or shared by us.
Delivery
Items paid for by Paypal will be dispatched within 1 - 2 working days (except holidays and Saturdays) to arrive to UK customers within 5 - 7 working days. All postage is calculated on the basis of weight and packaging and the cost of p&p is shown with each item when you shop.
UK Parcels are sent by Royal Mail Standard Parcel services, they are uninsured apart from any standard insurance included by the Post Office services. We obtain a Certificate of Posting for each parcel sent. Parcels weighing over 1kg are ‘Signed For’ deliveries. Some UK areas are subject to a delivery surcharge, e.g. Scottish Highlands and Islands.
International postage and shipping quotes in the Republic of Ireland are charged by weight; please e-mail us if you require a quote for sending specific items before ordering. Any customs or import duties levied once the package reaches your destination country will be your responsibility as we have no control over the charges and cannot predict them.
Delivery times can vary due to postal services for your area or delays may occur beyond our control due to related issues.
What if My Items Have Not Arrived?
We ask that you allow 21 days before notifying us if a parcel has not arrived. In the event that we are in the process of waiting for a re-order of stock, again, please allow 21 days for delivery. In this event we will inform you of the anticipated dispatch date after we receive your order. Should your order not arrive then a claim will be made with the Post Office. A refund or replacement for the missing item will be offered but a reasonable amount of time must be allowed for them to arrive.
Returns Policy
If in the unlikely event you are not satisfied with your purchase you are entitled to return it for a refund of the cost excluding the postage and packaging costs within 7 days of receipt, you must retain proof of postage to us. We are unable to offer refunds after this period. A refund will be paid only after we have received the goods in the same condition in which you received them including packaging.
Please note: Damaged items must be reported to House Proud Cindy within 24 hours of delivery. We cannot accept responsibility for damage reported after this.
After receiving items you must check that the item is acceptable especially in the case of previously used vintage items. However, some vintage items show small blemishes or sign of wear and tear due to the fact that they may have been used or because of their age, but this shouldn’t detract from the overall look, workmanship and beauty of them…It just adds to the character and history of the pieces.
All descriptions of goods are of satisfactory quality and offered in good faith to the best of our knowledge.
Cancellation
You may cancel your order up to the point of despatch. Any payments made by you will be refunded in full within 30 days. If items have already been despatched then a refund will be given minus postage and packaging costs.
Privacy
House Proud Cindy will only use your personal information for the purpose of posting or for future contact. Your details will not be shared with any other party.
What is Paypal?
Paypal is a simple system which allows you to pay for your purchases by credit or debit card. If you do not already have a Paypal account, you will be prompted to create one when you attempt to make your first credit card purchase. You only have to do this one time which is very easy, requiring your basic details. With Paypal, buyers use a single username and password (instead of manually entering billing and shipping information) to fast track purchases in stores across the web without having to recall payment details each time. Checkout is a free service for buyers. You can shop with confidence knowing that Paypal will protect you from unauthorised purchases should they ever occur. House Proud Cindy does not receive any of your credit card details. When we receive notification of your payment from Paypal we will despatch your purchases and send you an e-mail to confirm the same.
Using Paaypal means that you can easily keep track of all your purchases from other on-line shops in one place by logging into your account.
